Description

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

Seeking well-rounded team members for a Level 1 trauma center (preferred).
Ability to perform highly specialized cases such as vascular, neuro, and robotics preferred.
Scrub experience in any OR specialty is preferred.
Weekend Requirement: Work 1 weekend in every 4-week schedule (8-hour shifts).
Call: As needed, to be discussed during the interview.
Response time for call: 30 minutes.
Holidays: Required as needed; no guarantee for holiday time off requests.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year required.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
