Description

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5 days a week, 8 hours per day)
Hours per Week: 40 hours


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in an OBGYN clinic setting focused on maternity and gynecological care.
  • Manage obstetric emergencies such as placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension (including gestational hypertension and preeclampsia).
  • Triage patients appropriately over the phone and respond to inquiries via EPIC and voice messages.
  • Perform general clinic duties related to women's health.
  • Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience is accepted and encouraged.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oregon.
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.

Additional Information

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week
  • No call or weekend shifts required
