Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Georgetown, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit Type: Medical/Surgical
Floor: 2 North
Number of Beds: 14
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Staff on Unit: 3 RNs and 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT) per shift
Equipment Used: Alaris Pump
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: MEDITECH
Permanent Positions Available: Yes
Call Requirements: Rotating weekends

Bronchoscopy
EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
Colonoscopy

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Rhythm Interpretation
