Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Surgery (Travel)

Location: Denton, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Number of Beds: 13
Number of Staff: 62
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 32 staff (including 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Board Runner)
- Night Shift: 2 staff (1 RN, 1 CST)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Floor: 1st - Operating Room
Building: Main Hospital
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
On-Call Requirement: 2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month
Floating Requirement: None

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Proficient in Circulate Hearts

Skills & Procedures

Must have skill: Circulate Hearts – Hard Stop
Preferred skill: Circulate Hearts
Typical procedures performed: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
