Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Day Shift
Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care setting.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Maintain a high degree of total quality care throughout the shift.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN / LVN license in Colorado
- Minimum 3 years of Long Term Care nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
Additional Information
- Reliable transportation is required due to lack of public transportation in the rural area.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
