Nuclear Med Tech - Days
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform radiopharmaceutical preparation and general nuclear medicine imaging.
- Conduct camera quality control (Q.C.) and NRC-required daily and weekly Q.C.
- Prepare and monitor EKGs for cardiac exams.
- Receive and document radioactive shipments.
- Equipment used includes SIEMENS Dual Headed ECAM with ESOFT Processing, CAPTUS 3000, NMISGE MAC 5000.
- Floating to other units/departments based on competency and licensure.
Schedule
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts, scheduled 40 hours weekly after the first week of orientation.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Hawaii.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (3 years of experience).
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year.
- ARRT (NM) or CNMT.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
Additional Information
- Dress code includes scrubs, street clothes, and lab coat.
- Prior travel experience is required.
