MRI Technologist (General Imaging)

Job Type

• Imaging department
• Level III Trauma Center
• Level II NICU
• Primary Stroke Center
• 167 beds

Shift & Hours

• 8-hour evening shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation varies
• Call rotation shared with 5 others
• Holiday rotation required

Patient Population

• MRI patients

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of MRI experience
• Skills in general MRI, high-end tests, breast, prostate, and cardiac imaging

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT-M (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - MRI)

Orientation & Training

• One shift on unit to learn workflow

Scheduling & Time Off

• Time off approval: up to 7 days

Equipment & Systems

• Epic charting system
• Siemens 3T and 1.5T MRI machines

Additional Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Dress code: any scrub color except camo, denim, or logos
