Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights)

Job Description

• Coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members.
• Must be willing to float to the Thompson Unit and Kingsbury custodial patients as needed (higher patient ratio, lower acuity).
• Use Epic electronic medical record system.
• Dress code: Traveler must provide professional scrubs without logos.
• Own vehicle required for this assignment.
• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Shift accommodation requests (e.g., block scheduling) will not be considered.
• All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed and uploaded within 5 days of offer acceptance.
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application; no changes will be approved after offer.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

• No 48-hour guarantee for this assignment.
• Non-billable orientation hours: 0.
• OT and holiday pay multiplier: 1.25x.
• Patient population: Adult-Geriatric.
• The facility is located in a region with abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking and historical sites.
