Physical Therapist (PT) - Temp Position

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa
Setting: Outpatient clinic with 1 day per week in acute care

Job Details

• Employment Type: Temporary
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours per Day: 8
• Weekly Schedule: 4 days outpatient clinic, 1 day acute care
• Weekend Work: Optional acute care weekend shifts (Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM) available for those interested
• Float Requirement: May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the facility (local candidates not allowed)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide and manage care to patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Focus on orthopedic, neurological, and safety discharge patients in acute care
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapist experience (must be documented in work history/resume)
• Outpatient experience required; inpatient experience preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Physical Therapist license appropriate for Iowa
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Skills checklist specific to Physical Therapist discipline
• Professional references preferred (from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within last 24 months)

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Overtime and call back pay available (details not included per instructions)
