Description

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (12-hour day shifts)

Unit Information

Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiac Cath Lab with 5 procedure rooms
Staffed by approximately 25 team members
Cath lab hours: 7:00 AM to 7:35 PM
No on-call requirement for EP staff
Electronic Medical Records systems used: Merge and MACLAB
Typical team size: 3–4 staff per shift

Typical Procedures

Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PFA)
Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) ablations
Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) ablations

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an EP lab environment
Familiarity with MACLAB and cardiology lab procedures

Work Environment & Culture

12-hour day shifts with a collaborative team atmosphere
Outgoing personality and willingness to work are highly valued
Unit policies and guidelines will be provided at the start of the assignment
