EP Tech

Location: Margate, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: EP/CATH LAB
Beds: 2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab
Staff Composition: Combination of RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, 1 department assistant, 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 1 Manager
Patient Ratios: 1:1, with 3 staff per room (4 staff for VT Ablation)
Equipment Used: GE, ESI
Documentation Systems: Meditech, MacLab
Call Requirements: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Typical Procedures

Pacemakers (all types)
Ablations (all types)
Watchman procedures
Cryoablation

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
De-escalation training
Experience in an acute care setting

Additional Information

Scrubs provided by the facility
No specific preferences or prior travel experience required
