Location: Beaumont, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 AM – 5 PM (Must stay past 5 PM until all cases are completed)
Weekend/On-call: Required

Job Summary

• Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Support other imaging technologists as needed.
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and resolve image processing/archiving issues.
• Participate in quality assurance and ongoing education related to safety and technical advances.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols when handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals.
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by licensure.
• Adhere to organizational values, professionalism, and confidentiality standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts and at other campuses as needed.
• Ensure exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS; follow PACS downtime procedures as a superuser.
• Report equipment malfunctions and follow up appropriately.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (N) certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• Must be able to stay past scheduled shift end until all cases are completed.
• Weekend and on-call availability required.
