Location: Portland, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position for a Bone Density Technologist specializing in DEXA exams.
- No floating between units.
- No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements.
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1.
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Charting system used: Epic.
- Facility type: Short Term Acute Care with 418 staffed beds.
- Parking: No fee.
- Scrub color: Any color allowed (with some exceptions for other roles, not applicable here).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Oregon
- Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Active ARRT certification
- OBMI credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current and proficient bone density exam experience
Additional Information
- Orientation hours reduced to zero (no non-billable orientation).
- This is a first-time traveler position for Bone Density Exam experience.

This role is ideal for a DEXA Technologist with current, proficient bone density exam experience seeking a 13-week travel contract in a short-term acute care setting on a consistent day shift schedule without on-call or weekend demands.
