Job Opportunity: PET CT Technologist

Work Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts
• 40 hours per week

Job Summary

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper handling/documentation of radioactive materials.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and train new technologists or personnel as needed.
• Work environments may include outpatient centers, mobile units, or hospital-based facilities.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine required (NMTCB or ARRT RT-N).
• Valid state license for Nuclear Medicine and Radiation as required by Kentucky.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1-2 years of PET/PETCT imaging experience with adequate training in Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Valid state driver’s license as applicable.
• Local travel may be required.

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Candidates should be prepared to document any required time off during the assignment.
