Job Opportunity: Endoscopy/GI Tech

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Assist nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures such as polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations.
• Efficiently operate, troubleshoot, disinfect, and process endoscopic equipment.
• Set up procedure rooms and stock supplies and equipment.
• Transport patients as needed and assist with patient ambulation and dressing as directed.
• Apply EKG monitors, blood pressure cuffs, and pulse oximetry prior to procedures.
• Work 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours, with rotating on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician, including experience within the last year.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER).

Additional Information

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility location.
• Compliance with Colorado CAPS registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain.
• Accurate Social Security number and date of birth must be provided to avoid onboarding delays.

Shift Details

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, with rotating call schedule.
• Approximately 40 hours per week.
