Description

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Special Care Nursery / Pediatrics / NICU

Location: Laramie, Wyoming
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Rotating

Job Summary

Provide and coordinate patient care through assessment, evaluation, and treatment with the primary goal of achieving wellness and recovery.

Essential Functions

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of patient care within scope of practice.
Educate patients according to their needs.
Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders.
Coordinate healthcare team and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wyoming.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience in Nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Experience

Previous hospital experience preferred.

Excellent organization and time management with ability to prioritize.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently without immediate supervision.
