Description
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Special Care Nursery / Pediatrics / NICU
Location: Laramie, Wyoming
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Rotating
Hours per Week: 36
Job Summary
Provide and coordinate patient care through assessment, evaluation, and treatment with the primary goal of achieving wellness and recovery.
Essential Functions
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of patient care within scope of practice.
- Educate patients according to their needs.
- Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders.
- Coordinate healthcare team and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wyoming.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience in Nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Experience
- Previous hospital experience preferred.

- Excellent organization and time management with ability to prioritize.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently without immediate supervision.
