Description

ICU Registered Nurse (All Shifts) – Arizona, Tuba City

Position Type

Contract
Full-time, 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Setting

Primarily assigned to a 5-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
May float to Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, or Pediatrics units as needed
Provides nursing care to critically ill patients of all ages, including post-op recovery for general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients after hours
Shared contractor housing provided (no pets or family allowed)

Location & Community

Located in a culturally diverse, semi-desert region on the Colorado Plateau
Serves a large rural area including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute Native American tribes

Required Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Licensure

Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona

Certifications (must be maintained throughout employment)

Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Additional Information

Orientation sessions held every 2 weeks
COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form
Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
