Description
Registered Nurse - Pediatric Surgery
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Specialty: Surgery Operating Room (Pediatric)
Shift: Night
Hours per Week: 24 (2x12-hour shifts, variable weekends and weeknights)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a Pediatric Operating Room setting.
- Experience required in Neuro, Ortho, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries.
- Pediatric OR experience preferred.
- Ability to scrub preferred but not required.
- Office surgery experience is not acceptable.
- Charge nurse experience is required.
- Must be nicotine-free (testing required along with drug screen).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
- Documented travel experience in OR nursing.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications.
- Skills checklist matching the specialty.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system.
- Flu vaccination is mandatory; no declinations accepted.
