Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract

Location: Titusville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Acute Care Hospital setting with 210 staffed beds
• Shift: Day shift, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Patient ratio experience required: 1:6
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating required within scope of practice, including mixed unit high acuity areas
• Rapid Response team experience required
• Total joint experience required
• Strong telemetry (Tele) experience required
• Mandatory clinical orientation week: 5 shifts (36-40 hours)
• No block scheduling allowed
• No return to office (RTO) during first or last week of assignment
• Local candidates not accepted (must live more than 30 miles from facility)
• Call-out policy: 3 call outs result in termination
• Shift change notice policies with potential consequences for refusal
• Must complete approximately 4 hours of pre-start modules
• Holiday work requirements based on number of holidays during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
• Patient ratio experience of 1:6 required
• Total joint experience required
• Rapid Response experience required
• Ortho Trauma experience required
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
