Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology (Travel)

- Wichita, Kansas

Unit Information
- Ultrasound Unit, Radiology Department
- 450 staffed beds (capacity 700)
- Staff: 30 ultrasound techs total (6 on 1st shift, 3 on 2nd shift, 2 on 3rd shift)
- Monthly patient volume: approximately 2,100
- Equipment: GE ultrasound machines
- EMR system: Meditech
- Procedures commonly performed: Vascular and OB ultrasound studies
- Department culture: Progressive, quality-focused, collaborative team with radiologist review of all studies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months (0.5 years) of recent ultrasound technologist experience within the last year
- Current ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification
- BLS certification
- Assessment of competency in sonography or understanding of hazardous drug handling risks per USP 800
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Transcranial Doppler (TCD)
- Prior experience working in large trauma facilities
