Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Open to a Cath Lab RN who can scrub and perform procedures efficiently.
- Required procedure experience includes:
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Mitral and Tricuspid Clips
- Carotid Stenting
- TMVR (Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement)
- PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closures
- Watchman device implantation
- Unit has 5 procedure suites with a staff of approximately 4.6 RNs and 5 techs.
- Patient ratio: 1 patient to 3-4 staff members.
- Equipment used includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator.
- EMR systems: MacLab and Meditech.
- Typical procedures: Diagnostic and Interventional Cath, Peripheral Vascular, Pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, EP/ABL.
- Schedule includes working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
- Day shift primarily; night shift is on-call for emergent cases.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Cardiac Catheterization experience
- Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) experience
- Peripheral Vascular (PV) experience
- TAVR procedure experience
- Mitral Clip procedure experience
- Tricuspid Clip procedure experience
- Carotid stenting experience
- TMVR procedure experience
- PFO closure experience
- Watchman procedure experience
Additional Information
