Description

PET-CT Technologist

Location: Sidney, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Thursday (4x9 hour days), 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Perform PET/CT imaging requiring dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process.
Interpret physician orders and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Train new technologists and patient coordinators.
Troubleshoot imaging equipment and related peripherals.
Assist in establishing protocols and workflows for a new PET-CT department.

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Montana
Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography
Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
ARRT certification
