Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech
Location

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM (8-hour shifts)
- Weekend, holiday, and standby call rotations may be required based on operational needs
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
- Level I and II trauma experience preferred
Required Certifications and Licenses
- Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT-R license (state license required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association only
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required depending on unit
- State license primary source verification within 30 days of start and upon expiration
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Competency and Testing Requirements
- Pass/Fail Telemetry Testing (EKG/Medication) as applicable
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Facility-specific telemetry exams may be required if working in telemetry units
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Proof of immunizations or immunity for:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) – 2 doses or positive titers
- Varicella – 2 doses or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination form if declining
- Seasonal Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required annually during flu season)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination proof as applicable
- Meningococcal vaccine or declination if working in Microbiology department
Additional Requirements
- Drug screening per Vaya standard (clinical candidates)
- Signed acknowledgment of Orientation Safety Manual (Joint Commission Training)
- Photo for badge (passport-style, no headwear except for religious/medical reasons)
- Completion of facility-specific communicable disease form within 90 days of start
- Completion of employment application and annual skills checklist
- Two clinical references within the last 3 years (Aya standard)
