Shift Details

• Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required; holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience working with Adult patients
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information
• Criminal background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana), including multiple specified substances
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to perform work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
• Immunization and health requirements:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; annual TB questionnaire required
  • Documentation of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titers
  • Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Tdap vaccine within last 10 years preferred
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• N95 Fit Test within 9 months of start, updated annually (client may complete onsite if needed)
• I9/E-Verify attestation required prior to start
• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules before hire date
• Medication and pharmacology competency exam required prior to start and updated every 3 years (minimum 80% score)
• Color blindness testing (online or in-person) required
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required annually with minimum scores for lethal rhythms (for applicable units)
• Background checks including EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks prior to start and monthly thereafter
• Annual acknowledgment of orientation safety manual

Additional Information

• Locals within 60 miles may be considered at a different rate (not disclosed here)
• Scrub color: Black
• Off-cycle orientation accepted; orientation sessions available every Monday
• Must be available for immediate start

This position is ideal for experienced respiratory therapists with critical care, emergency, and transport experience who have prior travel contract experience and hold the appropriate Maryland license and certifications.
