Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location: Gainesville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Operating Room nursing position with varied shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Must have vascular experience.
Work in a full-service acute care center offering comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, transplant and cellular therapy, neurosciences, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, weight loss surgery, women’s health, and wound therapy.
The facility is accredited as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center, with multiple recognitions for patient safety and quality care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Vascular experience, including vascular surgery experience
Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional Information

This is a travel assignment with a 13-week contract length.
Shift times vary but generally cover 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
No prior travel experience explicitly required.
