Clinic RN (Day Shift) - Iowa

Job Overview

• Provide superior customer service while assisting medical providers in patient care and treatment.
• Work cooperatively with staff to ensure smooth office workflow.
• Perform duties within the scope of practice as defined by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.
• Regular attendance is essential.

Schedule

• Full-time day shift
• Monday-Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: Off
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Total hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of clinic experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Employment and Health Requirements (must be completed prior to start)

• Proof of licensure verification including expiration date and disciplinary actions
• Two recent employment references
• BLS certification through American Heart Association (copy of card required)
• Immunizations:

  • MMR (2 doses or positive titers)
  • Varicella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Polio
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
  • Current TDaP (within 10 years)
  • Flu vaccination during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
• Negative 2-step Mantoux or QuantiFERON Gold test within 1 year (if positive, chest x-ray required)
• Physical exam within 1 year
• 10-panel drug screen within 1 month
• Respiratory fit test within 1 year (can be provided if unavailable)
• Criminal background checks for all states of licensure and residence in past 7 years
• National and state sex offender registry checks within 30 days
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)
• Completion of CareLearning education modules including Mandatory Reporter training if not already certified
