Job Opportunity: GI/Endo Tech
Location: Issaquah, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Work in a Surgical Services specialty, primarily in an Endoscopy/GI Lab.
- Float required; may be asked to work at other nearby facilities within the system.
- On-call required with a 45-minute response time; approximately 132 hours per month on call.
- Schedule flexibility needed to accommodate various start times.
- Weekend work every other weekend.
- Department mix: 30% inpatient, 70% outpatient, including 10% pediatrics.
- Assist with high-level disinfection (HLD) of scopes, room turnover, and intra-procedural support for general and advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
- Support care for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics with complex GI diseases.
- Large endoscopy department with multiple admit/discharge and procedure rooms.
- Preferred experience includes MAC sedation and advanced therapeutic endoscopy tech skills.
- First-time travelers accepted.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy experience, with experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
