Radiation Therapist - Wisconsin, Rice Lake

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days (typically 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, variable 7 AM - 5 PM)
• Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Work Schedule: No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• Scrubs Provided

Job Description

• Perform radiation therapy treatments and SIMS
• Average of 10-30 treatments per day
• Use of department-specific equipment including Varian Truebeam, Siemens CT Scanner, and alignRT
• Utilize software systems Aria and Cerner for EMR/PACS
• Radiation Oncologist available on site 2-3 days per week
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• No IV starts required

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Preferred experience with ARIA, CBCT, alignRT, and SBRT

Orientation & Training

• 2 days organizational orientation and computer training
• Onsite department-specific training

Department Information

• 1 CT Scanner and 1 Linear Accelerator (Linac) in the department
• No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs)
