Description

Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical (Nursing)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7pm - 7am)
Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed every other week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Float Pool position requiring advanced Telemetry experience.
  • May be asked to float to a nearby facility within the same city.
  • Experience with Cardizem and Insulin drips (insulin for hyperglycemia, not DKA) and Phenobarbital on Telemetry units.
  • EMR experience preferred, specifically Cerner, but not required.
  • First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of acute care nursing experience in the specialty.
  • Active New Hampshire or Compact RN license at time of submission.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Must provide:
    • Up-to-date resume documenting specialty experience and travel experience.
    • Two recent specialty Charge/Manager RN references.
    • Skills checklist matching specialty.
    • NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses.
    • Return to Office (RTO) documentation at time of submission.

Additional Notes

  • Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at local rates.
  • Prior travel experience is preferred but first-time travelers with good experience are welcome.
