Location: Devils Lake, North Dakota

Overview

Provides direct nursing care on a Med/Surg/Tele/Peds unit, including patient assessment, care planning, discharge planning, patient education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary care team.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license from the North Dakota Board of Nursing or a Compact State Agreement, prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, prior to start date

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds and address unmet patient care needs
• Assess patient condition, set goals, and implement nursing actions
• Monitor pain, respond to changes in condition, and take emergency action when needed
• Communicate patient observations to the care team and complete incident reports
• Provide patient education and support discharge planning
• Delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice
