Description

ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU)
Shift: Day (3x12 hours, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and Night (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) rotating; also 0.9 FTE straight nights available
Hours per Week: 36
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 2 patients
Patient Population: Medical/surgical and cardiac ICU patients
Unit Type: Acute Care, Level 3 Trauma, Teaching Hospital
Charting System: Epic (Excellian)
Weekend Requirement: Work every other weekend
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 100-mile radius
Pending License: Accepted
Return to Office Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota (pending license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
