Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry (Night Shift)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Patient Population:

  • Nephrology
  • Urology (surgical and non-surgical)
  • Benign hematology
  • Medical/Surgical (M/S)
• Unit: East Tower 3, 27 beds, Urology
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4-5
• Call: No call required
• Floating: Required to float to different units within the organization as needed
• Holiday Coverage: Every other week and every other holiday required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Intermediate care experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required

• Candidates must be prepared to complete fingerprinting at a Fast Fingerprints location or via mail-in if remote
• Candidates may renew BLS and ACLS certifications onsite if needed
• Stroke education and NIH Stroke Certification may be required depending on unit assignment (certifications must be maintained and renewed as specified)
• Unit-specific competency exams required

This position offers a challenging and dynamic environment with diverse patient populations and requires flexibility to float across units. Night shift nurses will work 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly with no call responsibilities.
