Description
Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Lakeville, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse
- Shift: Monday to Friday, Day shift (7:30 AM or 8:00 AM start; 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM end)
- Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients
- Setting: Outpatient oncology/hematology infusion center
- Patient Population: Adult oncology and hematology patients receiving outpatient infusion services, including solid tumors (breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, gynecologic), hematologic malignancies (lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma), and benign hematology conditions
- Services Provided: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hydration, iron infusions, injections, supportive care, port access, central line management, infusion reaction management
- Technology: Epic/Beacon electronic health record system, infusion pumps (including CADD pumps), Dynamap vital sign monitors, telemonitoring for infusion patients
- Additional Info: No blood products or transfusions administered at this location
- Uniform: Navy blue scrubs
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Hematology / Oncology experience with 2 years of experience
- Hematology / Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS
- Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- No weekend shifts required
- No on-call duties
- Floating within scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling accommodations available
- Candidates must be located outside a 100-mile radius (locals not accepted)
- Return to office (RTO) restrictions ideally no more than 5 days
- Guaranteed hours subject to client cancellation policy (up to 3 shifts may be canceled without penalty)
