OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Overview
- Specialty: Surgical Services
- Location: Columbus, Ohio
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Day/evening rotating shifts, with a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts to equal 40 hours per week
- Call / weekends: As needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- BCLS certification
- Circulate and scrub experience
- EPIC experience
- Highly proficient in:
- Robotic surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Thoracic surgery
- ENT procedures
- Experience in multiple services, including:
- ENT/Plastics (Flaps/Microvascular)
- Endoscopic procedures (Bronch/EGD/EBUS/LS)
- Neuro (Craniotomy/EEA/Skull base)
- Thoracic
- Robotics
Work Expectations
- Assist with circulating and scrubbing as needed
- Be prepared to scrub a variety of surgical services, including:
- Surgical Oncology
- Thoracic
- Colorectal
- Urology
- GYN Oncology
- Head & Neck / ENT
- Neuro
- Ortho
- Plastics / Reconstructive
- Robotics
