Physical Therapist

Overview

  • Contract role in Hilo, Hawaii
  • Specialty focus: rehabilitation therapy
  • Primary setting: acute inpatient
  • Secondary settings: acute rehab and ICF/SNF rehab

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Hawaii
  • Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • Experience working with Adult patients
  • Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
  • Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
  • Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting
  • Experience in a(n) Post Acute setting

Schedule

  • Variable schedule
  • Possible shifts: Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday–Saturday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, or Sunday–Thursday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

Assignment Length

  • 26 weeks

Additional Notes

  • Candidate must be able to evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients/residents and provide ongoing therapeutic physical therapy services as prescribed by the attending physician and/or consulting specialist
  • Travelers without an active Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer
  • Must arrive the Thursday before start for a Friday employee health appointment
