OT Inpatient Rehab
Job Overview
- Specialty: Occupational Therapy in acute inpatient rehab
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 per week
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8; typically 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Schedule notes: Tuesday–Saturday preferred; Monday–Friday candidates may be considered if willing to work a Saturday once or twice per month and flex a weekday off
- Weekend requirement: One weekend day per month
- Float requirement: As needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Maryland
- Occupational Therapist (3 years of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting
Experience / Clinical Background
- Experience in a fast-paced inpatient rehab setting
- Experience treating stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, and general rehab populations
Preferred
- Cerner/MedConnect experience
Additional Notes
- Scrubs: any color except the nursing blue/white combination
- The role is in a CARF-accredited rehabilitation program
