Echocardiographer / Echo Technologist
Location
Norfolk, Virginia
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 40 hours per week
- Includes weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- RDCS (PE) or ARDMS or CCI
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound studies, including transthoracic echo, stress echo, and assistance with transesophageal echo
- Perform noninvasive testing such as electrocardiograms and Holter monitor application
- Prepare preliminary interpretation reports for echocardiograms
- Handle billing procedures, study transmittal, and coverage for satellite sites
