Description
ER RN
Location
- Iron Mountain, Michigan
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Evening and night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- Holiday coverage required
- Variable start times
Unit Details
- Trauma Level IV
- 14 beds and 2 trauma bays
- Fast Track with 3 designated rooms
- Separate triage area
- 24/7 ED physician coverage
- 24/7 respiratory therapy support
- 24/7 phlebotomy support
- No monitor techs; RNs read their own strips
- Inpatient floating for helping hands
Additional Notes
- Travelers may triage after reviewing facility policies and procedures
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Clinicians who have previously worked for the facility must have an end date at least 6 months before submission
- Clock in and out is required at the facility
