MS/Tele Float

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Beaufort, South Carolina
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
Possible extension

Unit and Work Setting

Stepdown role that frequently floats to MedSurg and Tele units
Must be comfortable working in both Stepdown and MedSurg settings
MedSurg patients may float to the PCU unit as needed
Ratios: Stepdown 1:4-5; MedSurg 1:5-6
29-bed general surgical and ortho unit with medical overflow

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of Telemetry experience
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Travelers cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
No license or background hits accepted
Travel experience is preferred
Scrubs are not provided; required colors are royal blue and white
Meditech is used for the EMR
