CVOR Travel/Contract RN
Overview
- Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
- Specialty: Registered Nurse, CVOR

Role Highlights
- Floating may be required to the Main OR if there are no CVOR cases.
- On-call is required: 32 total hours per month.
- No block schedule.
- Locals are accepted.
- Hospital-provided scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- CVOR (3 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Scrub experience for TAVR
- Knowledge of devices (Impella)
- Knowledge of devices (HeartMate)
- Knowledge of ECMO
- Knowledge of laser lead extractions
- Knowledge of TAVR
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR.
Experience Notes
- First-time travelers will be considered, though experience is highly preferred.
Key Clinical Skills
- Open heart adult surgery, CABG, and valve cases.
- Knowledge of impella, heartmate, ECMO, laser lead extractions, and TAVR.
