Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: La Plata, Maryland
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
Schedule note: 36/48-hour option; every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled
Floating: Required within the specialty
On-call: No pre-scheduled on-call requirements
Start date: 08/31/2026
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Clinical Setting

Fast-paced emergency department
