Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: La Plata, Maryland
Setting: Fast-paced emergency department
Employment type: Travel/contract
Start date: 8/17/2026
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
Scheduling notes: Every other weekend required; holidays required as scheduled; floating required within the specialty; no pre-scheduled on-call

Patient diagnoses: All diagnoses, including complex cases

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Additional Notes

First-time travelers may be considered if they have strong ER skill and experience
