Occupational Therapist

Job Overview

Location: Brandon, Florida
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
OTR Certification

Preferred Experience

Inpatient rehab experience
Acute care experience

Unit Details

Inpatient rehab therapy setting
Typical patient ratio: 4 to 5 patients per therapist, usually 4
Typical equipment: standard inpatient rehab gym equipment

Work Environment

Flexible, team-oriented setting
Experienced team with strong working relationships with nursing staff

Scheduling Notes

Rotates one weekend per month
Every other weekend and holidays are worked in rotation with hospital employees
A day off is provided before and after the weekend rotation as comp days
