Medical Surgical RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Chaska, Minnesota
• Specialty: Medical Surgical / Orthopedic
• 12-week assignment
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Start date: ASAP
• No shifts during Thanksgiving week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Shifts are Monday through Friday
• May work every Friday or every other Friday

Compliance / Onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID
• Emergency contact form
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• HHS/OIG screening
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprinting and questionnaire
• Photo for badge
• Schedule E-Form
• Orientation Express packet review and verification
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• 2 professional references within 2 years of start

• PALS is listed as preferred
• TNCC and ENPC are listed for ER roles only
• Flu and COVID vaccination are highly recommended
