Overview

• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 40

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Cardiac Cath Lab (1.5 years of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience before travel assignments
• Proficiency with Balloon pump, Impella, and Atherectomy devices
• Proficiency with cardiac medication drips and emergency medications
• STEMI experience

Work Expectations

• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• On-call required on evenings and weekends
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted
• RTO must be submitted at time of application
• Block scheduling not accommodated

Additional Notes

• Orientation includes time-sensitive modules that must be completed promptly after confirmation
• Government-issued photo ID is required during hours of service
• 2 professional references are required
• Physical exam, TB screening, drug screen, COVID vaccination or approved exemption, and seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption are required
• AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance must be on file before start
• Background screening is required, including checks for criminal history and excluded-party databases
