Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Description

Coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients.
Participate in patient and family teaching.
Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members.
Patient population: Adult-Geriatric.
EMR system used: Epic.
Dress code: Traveler must provide professional scrubs without logos.
This position will float to an additional unit as needed.
No block scheduling accommodations; scheduling requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be changed after offer.
5 days or less return-to-office (RTO) accepted; all RTO details must be included in the profile.
Traveler must have their own vehicle due to lack of public transportation.
Permanent address must be included in the profile.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Cardiac drip experience
Dementia experience/management
Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Experience with Epic EMR system
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Additional Information

This is a 36-hour guarantee position; 48-hour guarantee is not available.
All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance, with proof uploaded promptly.
Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
Non-billable orientation required.
Overtime and holiday multipliers apply.
