Description
PCU Travel/Contract RN
Overview
- Location: Clinton, Maryland
- Setting: Intermediate care / ICU coverage with floating to medical-surgical and emergency department as needed
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start: ASAP
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience with Cerner
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with:
- 80% overall score
- 100% on lethal rhythms
Required Licenses and Certifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Schedule Requirements
- Every other weekend
- 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) in a 6-week period
Additional Notes
- Locals within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
- The traveler will work in both IMC and ICU units
