Description
Long Term Care Registered Nurse Contract
Job Overview
- Location: Hilo, Hawaii
- Employment type: Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Schedule note: Candidate must be flexible; no guarantee of hours or shift preference
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Long Term Care experience within the last year
- 1 year of Long Term Care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and treatments
- Administer medications
- Notify MD/NP of pertinent information
- Complete admitting and discharging tasks
- Provide ADL assistance
- Perform gastrostomy tube care
- Perform urinary catheter care
- Provide nebulized treatment
- Perform wound vac care
- Provide CPAP care
- Perform tracheostomy care
- Complete other assigned duties
Start Date Requirement
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend employee health on Friday
