Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Clinical Experience / Skills

Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
Experience administering or titrating medications including amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban

Work Expectations

May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Summer holiday coverage may be required for 1–2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day

Additional Notes

16-hour NBO
Patient ratio historically 1:7
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, unless local eligibility applies under the stated exception
