Registered Nurse (RN) — Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Clinical Experience / Skills

Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
Experience with medication titration, including amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban

Schedule / Assignment Details

May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Orientation includes 16 hours
Summer holidays: required to work 1–2 of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day

Additional Notes

At least 1 travel contract completed is preferred
EPIC is used as the EMR
